The City of Medicine Hat operates a public transportation system, which is available and accessible to all residents of the community, including, personalized service for those with special needs; all of the MHT fleet is fully wheelchair accessible.

MHT offers affordable transit fares including a single cash fare, discount tickets in books of 10 or a monthly pass option. Passes can be purchased at the MHT office (downtown terminal), City Hall Cashier or at various business locations throughout the city.

MHT makes every attempt to be responsive to the needs of residents and other community partners. Efficient use of human and physical resources, customer service and satisfaction and a leadership role in providing an integrated transit system which meets the needs of our community are just some of MHT’s objectives.
