Should a calamity impact the City and/or the region on a scale that prompts a declaration of a state of local emergency, a damage recovery claims program will generally be established by, or in concert with, Alberta Municipal Affairs (Emergency Management Alberta). Information regarding the claims application process will be advertised through various media outlets including the City’s website. Directions as to where and how claimants can have applications processed will be released immediately following a disaster.
