The Municipal Works department develops and maintains a municipal transportation system, the storm water management system, and the Medicine Hat Municipal Airport. This includes roads, bridges and sidewalks. The Engineering Services group, within the department, provides project management and technical support to Public Services departments.

Our goal is to provide a service offering that contributes to making the city of Medicine Hat a "Community of Choice".
