Overview:
Gravel lanes are generally graded twice per year (dependant on weather). The first complete lane grading occurs during the months of April to July and then again during the months of August to October.
We will provide public notification when the lane grading program commences for the year.
Lane Grading Area:
The City is divided into 5 zones. To see which zone you are in, please review the Lane Grading Area Map. *note, current year map will be uploaded once lane grading has commenced.
Resident Information:
Obstructions that are located in the lane, next to private property, must be removed from the lane. Review Streets Bylaw 1556 here for full details. *obstructions are subject to fines
- Bylaw 1805 requires that garbage containers are removed from the lane/street back within 24 hours of pickup
- Lane grading activities will be coordinated with garbage pickup so that collection days are avoided
- Advise children to keep a safe distance from the equipment
- Stay at least 15 metres away from the equipment and give them room to work
