Customer Service & Collections in the Finance Department is responsible for administering all City taxes including Property and Business Revitalization Zone taxes and for ensuring that property information is collected in a respectful, conscientious and cost-effective manner with every effort to maximize accuracy while meeting legislative requirements.
Property taxes are levied based on assessed value. City Council is responsible for setting the tax rate in accordance with its revenue requirements.
