Whether you are a long-time member or are thinking of joining, welcome to Veiner Centre!
The Veiner Centre Regular membership is $25. The Extra full membership $30 for a total of $55. The $55 complete membership allows members to play snooker/billiards at the Veiner Centre and use the Strathcona Centre Fitness Room. You must be over 50 years of age to become a member of Veiner Centre. Memberships are sold at Veiner Centre front office during business hours.
Membership Benefits
Veiner Centre members have access to:
- Participation in over 45 activities ranging from fitness, cards, choir, art, scrabble, writers’ club, carpet bowling, floor curling, snooker, shuffleboard, table tennis, bocce, line dancing, crafts, darts, and many other activities.
- Utilization of the Fitness Room.
- Leisure activities such as education videos, workshops, library, or quiet time in the lounge.
- Participation in Senior Instructional classes, including computer classes.
- Reduced Park Side Eatery prices.
- 50+ Weekly Night Out (enjoy games, cards and dancing).
- Opportunities to be involved in our volunteer support programs including Meals on Wheels, Wheels To Meals, Travel, Bus Buddy, Indoor Golf, Information and Tax Officer or Hostessing and many others.
- Meeting space for groups where 50% of the participants are members.
- A sense of belonging to a friendly community facility.
- Weekly Membership Draw held on Wednesdays (must register at Veiner Centre).
- Participation in the Veiner Centre Travel Program, which includes day trips throughout Alberta (Rosebud Theatre, Stage West Theatre, Calgary Zoo, Calgary Heritage Park, Lethbridge Fort Whoop Up, etc.).
