Timing & Traffic Accommodations
Work in the area will begin July 13, 2020 and is expected to last until the end of September 2020.

The project will be split into phases, allowing crews to complete the work in segments while facilitating continued access to local businesses and residences during construction.

Detours will be in place and motorists are reminded to obey all traffic signs and detours related to ongoing construction.

The City’s Gas Distribution Department is planning to complete upgrades to the area to address aging infrastructure.  A gas main and service replacement will ensure the continued safe and reliable delivery of natural gas to your home.

All directly impacted residents and businesses will be notified of construction affecting them by email.

Future updates will be provided here, by public advisory and on the City’s social media channels.

A perimeter fence will be installed around the active work zone. For your continued safety, the public is asked to observe all safety fencing and construction signage posted around the active work zone.

Workers will take all necessary precautions relative to COVID-19, where possible, including physical distancing, increased sanitation, proper hygiene and staying home when sick. Residents are asked to allow crews adequate space to work.
