Program Funding
Funded through the Environmental Conservation Charge, HAT Smart has a limited amount of resources each year to make programs available.

Environmental Conservation Charge
The Environmental Conservation Charge (ECC) is levied against high consumption residential utility customers and calculated monthly on electricity consumption greater than 950 kWh and gas consumption greater than 19 GJ.

Other Sources of Funding
The HAT Smart team works hard to align current incentives with Provincial and Federal programs. These programs are designed to help individuals and organizations become more energy efficient.
